Returns & Refunds Policy – Reefside Games
At Reefside Games, we’re committed to providing quality products and great customer service. Our returns policy is designed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) to ensure your rights are protected.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase which is usually emailed.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
You are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product you purchase:

Has a major fault or defect

Does not match the description or perform as promised

Is not of acceptable quality or unfit for its intended purpose
These rights apply regardless of whether the product is on sale or full price.
Acceptable Returns:
Regardless for the reason our customers have for the request to return merchandise we can normally accept return of said merchandise within 14 days of receipt following the bellow conditions:
- The products being returned are in sealed, unused and re-sellable condition
- Proof of Purchase & Product Pictures are emailed to us during the start of the return process.
Email - reefsidegamescairns@gmail.com to start your return process. If your return is accepted, we will send you information to ship back to us at your own cost. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. While we are not legally required to offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, we may offer a store credit or exchange at our discretion if:

The product is unopened, unused, and in resalable condition

You provide proof of purchase

The return is made within 14 days of purchase
Please note: We cannot accept returns on opened trading card products (e.g. booster packs) or digital codes.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
With Damaged Items Shipping labels May be provided to customers based on the condition of the item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, this may include the following:
- Products specified as a random assortment of potential items where a specific item was not received (Items deemed of gambling in nature).
- Products which include cards subject to a random draw or items of a random chance nature this is including TCG products and the similar likes in items.
-The product is NOT being used as a trade up or in for similar or newer line Item products.
E.g. A Model Kit purchased and then a newer kit set to be released within the week will not be eligible for a return, exchange or refund!
We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. All sales outside of special exceptions will have a 15% restocking fee added with any change of mind.
How to Make a Return
To start a return, visit us in-store or contact us at 0480 545 306 or reefsidegames@gmail.com. Please bring your receipt or proof of purchase. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
